Any cancellation request must be made in writing but we will be happy to take your phone call to discuss the situation if you’d like.
We understand that situations may arise preventing you from attending a workshop for which full or partial payment has been made. It is strongly recommended that you purchase travel insurance for this reason as well as for any problems you may encounter during the workshop, getting to the scheduled location or returning home. Please contact us for suggestions on insurance companies David has used for his travel around the world.
If you cancel and we’re able to fill the vacated spot we will refund you the full amount you have paid towards the tuition, minus a $200 service charge. If the Workshop does not fill, then you will be refunded according to the following schedule, based on the full fee of the Workshop:
Greater than 150 days from the start date of the Workshop: full refund minus $200 fee.
90-150 days: 50% refund
60-89 days: 25% refund
Less than 60 days: We are sorry but a refund will not be made.
If a refund is approved according to these conditions then it will be paid using the same method that the original payment. If a refund is due it will be made within 7 days from when that the request is approved.
David Schultz Photography, LLC. reserves the right to cancel any workshop or private lesson should an unforeseen circumstance that may arise. Should this occur then you will be issued a refund of all amounts collected at the time of cancellation in a timely manner. West Light Images, Inc. nor any of its guides, instructors or employees will be responsible or held liable for any additional cost that you’ve incurred in preparation for the workshop including but not limited to flights, camera equipment purchased or rented, clothing, etc… Again, we suggest that you please purchase travel insurance.
